Black ashes coat the frozen earth
Engulfing mountains, woods, and plains
Dark clouds and smog are ever present
Shadowing forsaken landscapes
God depraved

I know that there has to be
A plan for the fate of man

Who wrote the laws?
Our kings and leaders say they know
Ordaining subjects of blind faith
Who aggregate, united in fantasy
Naïve to man's mortality
It helps to know that though death is imminent
It's not the end

Flashing in the skies
Signals a rain of divine saliva
Spitting in the eyes of the old and wise
Who have seen the future
Refusing all lies

The seas have corroded the coastline
The depths of the ocean released
Devouring civilizations
Relinquishing humanity

Your immaculate pillars crumbled
And all you believed in abolished except for your gods
Obsolete idols preserved through corruption of children
By sheep under guise as herding shepherds
What I have to say to god I will tell him myself
Or not at all
His silence speaks loud and clear as this wretched world falls
